We recently did something a little different. We fed our entire Jan–March 2026 menu into an AI analysis tool and asked it to compare us — price by price, dish by dish — against the café and restaurant scene across Newport and Caerleon. The verdict? We're more competitive than most people realise.

The Barney's Breakfast at £6.50, Medium Breakfast at £8.35, and Breakfast Roll at £6.10 all sit comfortably within the expected range for a well-regarded independent café in Newport and Caerleon. The Big Breakfast at £10.98 — with 2 bacon, 3 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, two bread choices, beans or tomatoes, 2 hash browns, and black pudding — represents genuine value for the plate you receive.
